The AutoProcess platform
AutoProcess builds operations systems for businesses. This page describes the part of that work which connects to Google and Meta advertising accounts, what it reads, what it writes, and what it will never touch.
What it does
Most businesses can see how many enquiries their advertising produced. Very few can see how much money those enquiries turned into, because the outcome is recorded in a CRM and the advertising platform never hears about it.
The platform closes that loop. When a job, sale or opportunity is marked as won in a company's CRM, its value is reported back to the advertising account that produced the original click. The business can then see which campaigns, keywords and creatives generate revenue rather than just enquiries, and the advertising platforms can optimise toward the same.
It is operated by AutoProcess on behalf of the businesses we work with. It is not a self-serve product and it is not available for public sign-up.
How it is connected
A business owner grants access once, at the top of their own account structure, using each platform's standard authorisation flow. No passwords are shared and nothing is installed on their machines.
- Google Ads. Authorised through Google OAuth against the account holder's own manager account.
- Meta. Authorised through a system user in the account holder's own Business Manager.
- CRM. Connected through the CRM's own supported application or API.
Every authorisation belongs to the account holder and can be withdrawn by them at any time. When it is withdrawn, the platform stops immediately.
What it reads
Only what is needed to send an outcome back to the right place and to report on it:
- Advertising account structure: accounts, campaigns, ad groups, ad sets, ads, keywords and search terms.
- Conversion action and dataset configuration, so results are recorded against the correct event.
- Performance figures such as spend, impressions, clicks and conversions.
- Click identifiers captured when someone arrived from an advert, which are what allow an outcome to be matched back to the advert that produced it.
- From the CRM: the record of an enquiry becoming an opportunity and, where present, its value.
What it writes
One thing. An offline conversion event: a value, a currency, a timestamp and the click identifier it belongs to, sent to the advertising account where that click originated.
It does not create, pause, edit or delete campaigns. It does not change budgets, bids or targeting. It does not create or remove users, and it does not touch billing.
Where a business later asks for actions beyond reporting, those are built behind an explicit approval step, with a record of who approved what and when.
What it does not handle
Names, email addresses and telephone numbers are not required for the reporting path and are not sent to the advertising platforms. A click identifier identifies a click, not a person.
